ACEP 2013, taking place in Seattle, WA from October 14th to the 16th, will be exhibiting the very first innovatED, an interactive, educational experience offering a whole new way to explore innovation in emergency medicine. Besides unveiling CanopyTranslator, Canopy App's CEO, Jerrit Tan, will be giving an "EDTalk" at the conference.

In regards to his talk, Mr. Tan stated, "We really want to help emergency room physicians re-imagine what is possible in terms of language assistance. The way things work now is just not working, so we need to show a complete new way of working with patients who do not speak English. It's an uphill battle to change anything in healthcare, but we think it's a really important battle."
