Last month, we launched Canopy Medical Translator. Our goal has always been to be a "canopy" of solutions that covers all language translation needs in healthcare. Whether you're a doctor who wants to learn medical Spanish or a nurse who needs to communicate with your patient instantly in Chinese Mandarin, Canopy is there.

With Canopy Medical Translator, we extend our reach into the point of care. The reception in the first month from our users has been phenomenal. In the first 30 days, the app has been used in over 1,100 healthcare facilities, ranging from major level 3 hospitals, to small rural clinics.

Some quick stats:

-The most popular languages have been Spanish, Chinese, Hindi and Arabic, in that order.

-Over 20,000 phrases have been used by a combination of physicians, nurses, PAs, and medical and nursing students to communicate with patients through the app.

-The most popular phrase has been "Please point to what bothers you or where it hurts."

Our hope is for Canopy to become the ubiquitous go-to solution whenever a healthcare provider encounters a patient who does not speak the same language. Results from the first 30 days have surpassed our wildest expectations, and we are extremely excited to see this technology spread across all healthcare facilities across the US.
